Description
Distinguished by its finely serrated leaf margins, Cymodocea serrulata often co-occurs with other Cymodocea species and contributes to mixed seagrass meadow diversity.
Morphology
Flat leaves 4โ9 mm wide with finely serrated margins and rounded tips. Leaves 10โ25 cm long.
Habitat
Sandy to sandy-muddy substrates in shallow coastal waters.
Distribution
Indo-Pacific region.
Ecological Role
